Top 3 reasons to apply for the National Startup Challenge, as suggested by the people at Venture Frontier Lanka

  • Learn how to get big

Whether you are a long time supporter of entrepreneurship or you just started, there is a lot to learn once joining the journey. You will access practical knowledge shared by serial entrepreneurs or investors who know what it means to grow a business, especially in a competitive international environment. At this event, you can put your skills to the test, learn and exchange info with peers and experts. Mentorship is a big part of the experience but that is not all there is.

  • Extend your network

Networking is crucial to startup success and to get the word out about it. You have the chance to build strong relationships with other top entrepreneurs, as potential partners, clients, vendors – or friends – but you also get to know the speakers and mentors better and discuss topics that have been puzzling you lately.

  • Pitch your idea

This is a tremendous part in the life of almost all entrepreneurs and perhaps one of the scariest ones. Have you ever wondered how successful business people have done it? The answer is at hand: BY DOING! Practice is everything – you are becoming better and better at it after every public pitch. Take this as a great chance to improve your public skills, to test your idea, to see how it is received by others, to recognize its weak sides and strong sides, and to get feedback on it from our judges. There is no further need to mention how important it is for all startup owners to make their presentations appeal to potential investors, partners and other important actors of the startup scene.

Participation is limited to the most promising startup.
